This class aims to give students a chance to play the sports and games they love, then learn the ways it impacts their health. This nutrition education and physical activity program guides students through sports focusing on proper technique, adequate warm-ups, good nutrition, and fair play. This is a chance for students to try many different sports and find their favorites. There’s no better way to stay active and engaged than playing team sports. We’ll see you on the field! Class is structured as followed: (9:00 am) Students are dropped off at The Acadamy, (9:15 am) Students begin walk to Nehu Park, students will be guided by two instructors. (9:25 am-10:45am) Students learn and play outdoor sports and games (sports rotate daily). (10:45 am- 11:00 am) Students walk back to the Academy. (11:00 am- 11:30 am) Students snack and hydrate while learning about healthy eating, playing, and training. (11:30 am- 12:00 pm) Free time in the academy including air hockey, ping pong, card games, and movies. Minimum 5, maximum 10 kids in the class!
